Daniel Lathrop is an investigative and data journalist who has won national awards from, among others, the Society of Professional Journalists, White House Correspondents Association and Society of Environmental Journalists. In addition to his work at Scripps News, his journalism has appeared in hundreds of outlets including: the New York Times, USA TODAY and The Dallas Morning News.
