Alejandro Mayorkas has had to go through a few more procedural steps in the Senate than the four cabinet nominations that have already been confirmed.
There were some concerns among a few Republicans that Mayorkas hadn't been vetted enough. However, he has been confirmed by the Senate three times previously for other positions he held in the Obama administration.
Specifically, Mayorkas was criticized for a 2015 Inspector General report about the way he managed an investment visa program.
Mayorkas' vote is not expected to be that wide of a bipartisan spread.
