Jared Kushner Cooperating With House Judiciary Committee Probe
Committee members asked for documents about hush payments, James Comey's firing and a 2016 meeting with Russians, among other topics.

Jared Kushner is reportedly cooperating with and providing records to a House Judiciary Committee probe into potential obstruction of justice by the president.

Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler requested information and documents from Kushner about a plethora of topics, including Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and Kushner's tenure at the White House.

Specifically, Nadler asked Kushner to elaborate on hush payments to women the president allegedly had affairs with, the now-ended project to put a Trump Tower in Moscow, the firing of James Comey and a June 2016 meeting involving Russians at Trump Tower, among other topics.

Eighty other individuals and groups have also received requests for documents as part of the Judiciary Committee's large-scale investigation into potential abuses of power by the president and his associates both inside and outside the White House.

This is just one of several Democratic inquiries into President Trump and his administration.
