Israel said Sunday it would begin easing restrictions from its second nationwide lockdown, which lasted about four weeks.

Originally a coronavirus success story, Israel reopened businesses quickly, but was forced to reinstate the lockdown after cases rose again.

Now, with infections slowing, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said reopening would be more gradual this round.
