Pakistan finally has its first female truck driver, and she's a badass.
"My message to my fellow women is ... we are capable," Shamin Akhtar said.
Akhtar didn't let being a single mom in a gender normative society hold her back.
"At first we had some doubts, but when she started driving the truck, our minds changed," Akhtar's apprentice said.
And now she's teaching men the skills she learned in a heavy vehicles training course.
"If you believe you can't do anything, then you will accomplish nothing," Akhtar said.
