But there might be a solution. It's an invention called Seabin, created by two Australians. It sucks in debris and filters water out. And because the Seabin floats on the surface, fish aren't harmed. (Video via The Seabin Project)
Keep in mind that it takes somewhere between 450 and 1,000 years for plastic to decompose.
