Nathan Byrne is Newsy’s supervising editor of academic partnerships. He serves as the liaison between Newsy and several academic bodies, including the Missouri School of Journalism, where he’s also an adjunct professor. He runs Newsy Academy, a summer program for visiting students. He often represents Newsy as a guest lecturer, panelist and presenter. Nathan has more than 20 years’ experience in journalism and mass communication including local television, corporate marketing/public relations and digital startups. He is a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism.
