Katie is from St. Louis born and bred. She came to Newsy after finishing her master's in broadcast management at the University of Missouri. She loves writing and learning about politics, foreign policy and technology. When Katie's not at work, you can find her with her nose in a murder mystery book or out hiking with her dog.
