In an annual report, top Trump administration economists estimate an at least 3 percent growth each year through 2020, adding a total of $1.1 trillion to the economy.

White House Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Kevin Hassett says if the president's plan is fully implemented, a yearly 3 percent GDP growth can be expected throughout the next decade.

The CEA touted Trump's tax reform, infrastructure plan, fair trade and health care policies.

The White House's 2018 economic outlook differs from that of the Federal Reserve, which projected a 2.5 percent growth in 2018.
