Protests against President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital have sprung up around the world, and some turned violent.

Videos out of Pakistan and Afghanistan show protesters gathered to condemn Trump, the U.S. and Israel.

In Gaza, at least four Palestinians have died in the unrest since Trump's announcement. An Israeli security guard was stabbed and seriously wounded in Jerusalem.

But in Lebanon, protests near the U.S. embassy were especially violent. Reports say police fired tear gas and water cannons at protesters.

About 450,000 Palestinian refugees live in Lebanon, and the country is partially governed by the Islamist group Hezbollah.
