Michelle Obama made her last late-night talk show appearance as first lady by sitting down with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show." She talked about everything from her mom to life after the White House to Sasha missing her dad's farewell address because she had a final.
During her time in the White House, Michelle Obama wasn't afraid to be goofy, whether it was on late-night TV or to promote her initiatives:
But she also made her mark with memorable, sometimes emotional speeches. So it's not surprising this last appearance was a mix of humor, heartfelt emotion and a promise to continue work on her initiatives, like the school lunch program.
"I will continue to stay involved in these issues as long as I live," she said. "You know, I didn't take this on because I was the first lady; I took them on because they meant something to me."
