We think Twitter user Sam Thielman hit the nail on the head with this one.
is this some kind of record for largest typo pic.twitter.com/kOZ9UIp0Ig— Sam Thielman (@samthielman) January 5, 2017
The Washington Post's publication Express mistakenly used the male symbol when featuring a story on the Women's March on Washington, a widely organized group of women's rights supporters planning to protest Trump's administration the day after inauguration.
Express quickly confronted its error, admitting the slip up was, well, embarrassing.
This is how the cover should have looked. We apologize for the mistake. pic.twitter.com/MKKOkHPV8T— Express (@WaPoExpress) January 5, 2017
But wait, there's more!
In its first apology tweet, Express misspelled "erroneously," but it looks like someone caught that mistake pretty quickly.
Happy Thursday, everybody. Friday, we're almost there.
