In this episode of "Tell Me More," actress Jennifer Garner and Save The Children Action Network (SCAN) CEO Mark Shriver discuss the importance of reaching low-income children well before they're school-age.

SCAN is the advocacy arm of Save The Children and works to help pass legislation aimed at getting children access to early education and literacy programs.

Garner and Shriver spoke as part of a panel hosted by Newsy's partner Chicago Ideas.
