Millions of Americans are still in the path of dangerous weather after severe storms and tornadoes tore across parts of the South. 

In Mississippi, a tornado ripped through a city in the southeast part of the state. 

In Alabama, tornadoes knocked down trees, toppled power lines and destroyed homes.
