Gabrielle WareWest Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin said Thursday his social media accounts had been hacked. The news comes just days before the midterms.
A statement from Manchin's office says, "The accounts have since been secured."
His office didn't release details about who may have been responsible for the hack.
Manchin is hoping to be re-elected to the Senate for his second full term. He's facing West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey.
