As recounts began in the heated U.S. Senate race in Florida, Gov. Rick Scott filed several more lawsuits against county election officials.

Scott's campaign announced Sunday it's taking legal action against Brenda Snipes and Susan Bucher. They're the election supervisors in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Two of the lawsuits request that authorities impound and preserve all voting machines, tallying devices and ballots until the recount is complete.

And a third suit accuses Snipes of counting ballots after the Saturday noon deadline.

The announcement came not long after Scott accused his opponent, Sen. Bill Nelson, of trying to "commit fraud to try to win this election."

Official results for the election must be certified by Nov. 20.
