Still haven’t gotten your fill of Anchor to the Stars Ron Burgundy? Well, you're in luck!

Paramount Pictures announced Thursday that they’re re-releasing the Anchorman sequel for one week only — only this time it’s longer, dirtier and rated R. Here’s a clip.

“It’s fun, relatively benign, and costs as much as a soda pop at the local drug store. Here’s Brian Fantana on why everyone who is someone is lining up to smoke crack.”

Boasting of over 700 new jokes, director Adam McKay tells The New York Times that 95% of the film’s jokes were replaced with alternates, saying “This is a stitched up, Frankenstein version. You’ll either love it or hate it.”

Thanks to the main cast’s comedic chops and improv skills, the first version of Anchorman 2 left hundreds of jokes on the cutting room floor. Will Ferrell told Jimmy Fallon they even cut out a whole musical number.

"We just had a second editor working the whole time with alternative jokes so it's the same movie, it's twenty minutes longer, there’s a musical number we had to cut from the original one. Little treats like that." (Via NBC / "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon")

Anticipation is high as fans of the movie imagine a whole new script and plot.

Hitfix’s Drew McWeeny says "I'm excited to check this out. I think there are very few films you could do something like this with, but it seems like a perfect experiment with this title and with this cast."

Reworking and releasing movies as a whole new product is rare, but not unheard of. Woody Allen’s first movie, "What’s Up, Tiger Lily?" was a redubbed Japanese thriller with a new plot about egg salad. (Via Entertainment Weekly)

Thanks to Anchorman’s dedicated fan base, "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues Super-Sized R-Rated Version" could see high returns. So far, the first run of the sequel has collected nearly $125 million at the box office in less than two months.
