In 2020, an estimated 764 million adults worldwide experienced obesity. That’s a whopping 15 percent of the global adult population, and it’s rising everywhere. 

As average human size increases,  researchers have linked obesity with higher rates of heart and liver disease. Obesity raises one’s risk of covid-19 and many cancers.  

We’ve been told to stop obesity we need to just exercise more and eat less. But this hour on the why we’ll share new science that shows it's not that simple. Our question tonight: why is obesity on the rise the world over?
