Some evacuation orders in northern California are being lifted following the devastating Camp Fire.

The Butte County Sheriff's Office said certain areas will be open to residents starting Sunday. The general public being allowed access on Monday.

And officials have continued to make progress in accounting for survivors of the fire that left 88 people dead and scorched over 153,000 acres.

The Butte County Sheriff's Office said Saturday the number of people missing after the Camp Fire has dropped to 25. For perspective, that's just over half the number the sheriff's office reported on Friday

The Camp Fire is California's deadliest and most destructive fire on record.
