The hype for "Moonlight" has been growing since it debuted at the Telluride Film Festival in early September. It tells the story of Chiron during three stages of his life: childhood, young adulthood and adulthood. We spoke to Ashton Sanders, one of three actors who play Chiron, about some of the film's themes — including black identity and sexuality — and his own vulnerabilities in taking on the role.
