But a recent tweet from the brand wasn't exactly complimentary:
McDonald's was quick to delete the tweet and alert followers that its account had been "compromised."
Twitter notified us that our account was compromised. We deleted the tweet, secured our account and are now investigating this.— McDonald's (@McDonaldsCorp) March 16, 2017
Despite the quick fix, Twitter users couldn't help but have some fun with the awkward mishap.
