The mass shooting in Las Vegas killed at least 58 people and wounded almost 500. Here are the lives of those who died.

Rachael Parker, 33, was a records technician for the Manhattan Beach, California, police department. She had spent 10 years at the department. A statement from Manhattan Beach City said Parker "was dedicated, kind, capable & so much more."

Susan Smith, 53, worked in the Simi Valley Unified School District as an office manager. She was married with two adult children. The PTA at an elementary school where Smith worked called her "a wonderful woman, an advocate for our children, and a friend."

Adrian Murfitt, 35, was an Alaska native visiting Vegas after a hard summer of working on a fishing boat. One of Murfitt's friends, Ryan Kopiasz, told The Washington Post Murfitt "always had an alert up when somebody needed him ... Adrian would engage on a very intimate, personal level."

Sonny Melton, 29, was a nurse from Big Sandy, Tennessee. He married his wife, Heather, in June 2016. She told USA Today, "He saved my life ... I want everyone to know what a kind-hearted, loving man he was."

Denise Burditus, 50, is from Martinsburg, West Virginia, and was at the concert with her husband Tony. The two were married for over 30 years, and they have two children.

Sandy Casey, 35, was a special education teacher for the Manhattan Beach school district in California. Her fiancé also worked in special education for the district. In a message to parents, the superintendent said she'll "be remembered for her sense of humor, her passion for her work, her devotion to her students, her commitment to continue her own learning."

Angela "Angie" Gomez, 20, was from the Los Angeles area. She was very active during her high school years and was in cheerleading, choir and children's theater. After graduation in 2015, she attended Riverside Community College.

Charleston Hartfield was an officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He was off-duty during the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest music festival. Hartfield was a husband and a father of two. He coached youth football and was a military veteran.

Jennifer Irvine, 42, had her own a family law practice in San Diego. She had a black belt in taekwondo and enjoyed hot yoga and snowboarding.

Jessica Klymchuk was at the concert with her fiancé, Brent Irla. She lived in Valleyview, Alberta, with her four children and Irla. According to Klymchuk's Facebook page, the two were engaged in April 2017.

Rhonda LeRocque, 42, was from Tewksbury, Massachusetts. She was married to her husband, Jason, and was the mother of a 6-year-old girl. She was a Jehovah's Witness. Family says, "She was a great example of what a Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter and Niece should be and touched so many others lives."

John Phippen, 57, was at the concert with his son Travis, who was also shot. Travis, an off-duty EMT, helped pull people to safety. John Phippen was from Valencia, California, and was a father of six.

Quinton Robbins, 20, was from Henderson, Nevada, a Las Vegas suburb. His Facebook page says he studied at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and worked as a recreational assistant for the city of Henderson. A friend told Newsweek that Robbins "was a pay-it-forward kind of guy."

Lisa Romero-Muniz, 48, worked for Gallup-McKinley County public schools in New Mexico as a high school secretary. Her family says she was in Las Vegas with her husband to celebrate their wedding anniversary. She was the mother of three grown children. The district's interim superintendent described Romero-Muniz as "an incredible loving and sincere friend, mentor and advocate for students in many of our schools."

Bailey Schweitzer, 20, lived in Bakersfield, California, and worked at Infinity Communications and Consulting. The CEO of Infinity said, "Bailey was always the ray of sunshine in our office on a cloudy day."

Neysa Tonks, 46, was a mother of three boys and lived in Las Vegas. She worked for Technologent, a technology company based in Irvine, California.

Carrie Barnette, 34, lived in Riverside, California, and worked at Disney California Adventure. According to Disney CEO Robert Iger, Barnette had worked there for 10 years. In a statement, Iger said, "We are especially heartbroken over the loss of one of our own to this unconscionable and senseless act."

Jack Beaton, 54, lived in Bakersfield, California, and he was a husband and father of two. He attended the music festival with his wife, and he was shot while shielding her from the bullets. Family and friends are calling Beaton a hero. 

Stacee Etcheber lived in Novato, California, with her husband and two young children. She attended the festival with her husband Vinnie, who's a San Francisco police officer. Those who knew her described her a "charismatic and vivacious."

Dana Gardner, 52, lived in Grand Terrace, California, and was at the concert with her daughter. She was a deputy recorder for the San Bernardino County Hall of Records and had worked for the county for over two decades.

Jenny Parks worked as a kindergarten teacher and was a wife and mother of two. Her husband, who was at the concert with her, was also shot in the attack. Her Facebook page shows she earned a master's degree in May.

Hannah Ahlers, 34, was from Redlands, California, and she leaves behind her husband, Brian, and three children. She most recently lived in Beaumont, California, and was a stay-at-home mom. A GoFundMe page set up to support her family said, "Hannah was beautiful, loving, caring, full of joy and could light up a room the moment she walked in."

Heather Alvarado, 35, lived in Enoch, Utah, and was married to Albert, a firefighter for the Cedar City Fire Department. They have three children and loved to travel as a family. Her husband said: "She always saw the good in others. She spent her whole life serving others in her family and community."

Dorene Anderson lived in Anchorage, Alaska, and was a wife and mother of two daughters. According to her Facebook page, she was a stay-at-home wife and mother. A family statement said, "We are so grateful and lucky for the time that we did have with her."

Austin Davis, 29, was a pipe fitter in Riverside, California, and played softball in his spare time. One of Davis' friends, Courtney Belger, told The Press-Enterprise, "Austin would drop everything to be with one of us friends. ... He's that person that you can always ask and know he's going to come through for you."

Keri Galvan, 31, lived in Thousand Oaks, California, with her husband and their three children. Her younger sister Lindsey Poole told KNBC, "She was an amazing supermom — that's what you could best describe her as."

Jordan McIldoon, 23, was from Maple Ridge in British Columbia, Canada, and worked as a mechanic. He was attending the country music concert with his girlfriend. His parents told the Toronto Star, "Our boy will leave a legacy of love and not hatred."

Melissa Ramirez, 26, worked for AAA in Littlerock, California. She was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles football team, and she loved to cook. Her cousin, Yesenia Mancilla, told The Washington Post: "She was really kind and really silly, really funny. ... She would tell you how it is."

Kelsey Breanne Meadows, 28, was a substitute teacher and worked for the same school district she attended, Taft Union High School District in California. She leaves behind her parents, brother and sister-in-law. Taft Union High School principal said, "Kelsey was smart, compassionate and kind. She had a sweet spirit and a love for children."

Carrie Parsons, 31, lived in Seattle and was a graduate of Arizona State University. She was in Las Vegas on a trip with friends. According to KOMO, she worked as a recruiter and had recently got engaged.

Jordyn Rivera, 21, worked as a clerk at a law office in Los Angeles, according to her Facebook profile. She was in her fourth year studying health care management at California State University, San Bernardino. She was a member of Eta Sigma Gamma, a health education honor society.

Cameron Robinson, 27, worked for the city of Las Vegas but commuted there from a small town in Utah. He was at the concert with his boyfriend, who was injured in the shooting but is expected to survive.

Tara Roe, 34, worked in Canada as an educational assistant in High River, Alberta. She was a wife and a mother of two. Friends and family described her as "a beautiful soul."

Christopher Roybal, 28, was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was in Las Vegas with his mom to celebrate his upcoming birthday. His mom, Debby Allen, told the New York Daily News: "We were best friends. I don't know how I'm going to live my life without him."

Erick Silva, 21, was working as a security guard during the Route 91 Harvest Festival, and he died trying to get others to safety. His employer said he was always willing to go above and beyond, writing, "He was the epitome of integrity, service, and excellence and we will miss him dearly."

Laura Shipp, 50, was attending the concert with her son, Corey, who's a U.S. Marine, and her boyfriend. She was a single mother, and she had been living in Las Vegas for the past five years. 

Brennan Stewart, 30, lived in Las Vegas and was at the concert with his girlfriend, Gia Capri Iantuono. She wrote on Facebook that he saved her life. A GoFundMe page set up to help his family says, "His selfless courage is what everyone hopes to instill in their child."

Michelle Vo, 32, lived in Los Angeles and worked for New York Life Insurance Company. She was a native of the San Jose, California, area, where some of her family still lives. Vo befriended a stranger, Kody Robertson, during the festival who ultimately helped track her down after the panic. Her family called him a "guardian angel."

Kurt von Tillow, 55, was in Las Vegas for an annual family reunion and attended the concert with family members. He lived in Cameron Park, California, which is east of Sacramento. His family members credit him for saving their lives.

Bill Wolfe Jr., 42, lived in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. He coached Little League and wrestling. Wolfe was in Las Vegas with his wife celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary.

Denise Cohen, 58, was attending the concert with her boyfriend, Derrick "Bo" Taylor, 56. Both Cohen and Taylor died in the attack. Cohen lived in Carpinteria, a small city on the California coast, and was a mother of two and grandmother. Taylor lived in Oxnard, California. Taylor worked for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for almost 30 years.

Carly Kreibaum, 33, was from Sutherland, Iowa. She was a wife and mother of two. Neighbor Dan Wetherell said she worked at Walmart, noting, "She was a kind, loving mother, just working and taking care of her children."

Andrea Castilla, 28, was in Las Vegas to celebrate her birthday. She attended the concert with her sister, her sister's fiance and her boyfriend, who planned to propose to Castilla during their trip. She worked as a makeup artist, and her brother Adam said, "She wanted to make everybody look beautiful and feel beautiful."

Christiana Duarte, 22, lived in Los Angeles and worked for the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Kings. She graduated from the University of Arizona in May.  

Christopher Hazencomb, 44, worked at Walmart in Camarillo, California. He attended the concert with the wife of his best friend because his friend doesn't like country music. He died shielding his friend's wife from the bullets. 

Nicol Kimura, 38, lived in Placentia, California, and attended the concert with six of her friends, none of whom were injured in the shooting. She worked for the state of California. She is survived by her parents and a sister.

Steve Berger, 44, was visiting Las Vegas from his home in Excelsior, Minnesota, to celebrate his birthday. He worked as a financial adviser, helping his clients improve their financial situation or retire early. He is survived by his three children, parents and sister. 

Pati Mestas, 67, lived in Menifee, California, and was a huge country music fan. She had three children and eight grandchildren. She attended the festival with a group of friends. Her friend J.D. Arrighi said, "She was with friends when all this happened. When she passed away, she was with people she loved."

Austin Meyer, 24, was living in Reno, Nevada, and was a student at Truckee Meadows Community College. He attended the concert with his girlfriend to celebrate his birthday and their upcoming anniversary. 

Rocio Guillen, 40, was a mother of four. Her youngest child was just 7 weeks old when she was killed, and she was engaged to marry his father, Chris Jaksha. According to her friends and family, she always said her greatest accomplishment was being a mother.

Brett Schwanbeck, 61, attended the concert with his fiancée. He loved spending time outdoors hunting, camping or going to the lake. He was a retired truck driver who lived in Arizona.

Brian Fraser, 39, lived in La Palma, California, and attended the concert with a group of friends and family, including his wife. He is survived by his wife and four children. He's described as a churchgoing man who loved country music. 

Calla Medig, 28, grew up in Jasper, Alberta, a small town in Canada. Most recently, she lived in Edmonton, where she worked at a local restaurant. She was scheduled to take a promotion to a management position when she returned from the Route 91 Harvest festival. 

Lisa Patterson, 46, was a wife and mother of three, and she attended the concert with a group of girlfriends. She and her husband worked together in the family's hardwood flooring business. Her daughter Amber told NPR: "She was the most amazing person you could ever meet. She just cared for people."

Candice Bowers, 40, drove from her home in Garden Grove, California, to Las Vegas with a friend. In May, she adopted her 2-year-old niece, and she had two older children. Her friend Michelle Bolks told The Orange County Register that Bowers "would give her last dollar to anybody who needed it."

Victor Link, 55, lived in Aliso Viejo, California, and worked in the mortgage industry. He was engaged to be married.

Thomas Day Jr., 54, lived in in the Los Angeles area and worked as a construction estimator. He is survived by his four children.
