Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law and a senior White House adviser, received a security clearance downgrade. He was reportedly informed Friday.

That means Kushner will lose access to much of the top-secret  information he previously had open access to, including Trump's daily brief.

Kushner's background check still hadn't been completed, so he'd been working on an interim security clearance. In the meantime, he was also receiving top-secret security briefings.

All other White House aides with access to the most top-secret documents, despite working on interim clearances, also received downgrades.

The move comes after it was revealed that former staff secretary Rob Porter, whose ex-wives accused him of domestic abuse, and dozens of other White House aides were all working on interim clearances.
