Hours after a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip hit a house in southern Israel, Israeli fighter jets struck several military targets in the area.
According to several reports, Israel's military said it hit 20 targets throughout the Gaza Strip after Wednesday's attack, including Hamas sites.
A woman and her three young children were treated for shock after the rocket hit their home in Beersheba. NBC says it was the first rocket to hit the city since 2014.
It's unclear who was behind the attack. No one has claimed responsibility, and militant groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad both denied any involvement. But officials in Israel say they believe Hamas is responsible.
