FedEx will end its marketing discount program for business members of the NRA.

The shipping company confirmed the move to Reuters Tuesday, saying it was not politically motivated but that the NRA was not bringing in enough business to warrant continuing the program. An audit back in September found the NRA has been in the red for the last two years because membership dues have declined.

FedEx said more than 100 other organizations will also be cut from its program. Previous members will be moved to different programs but still receive the same shipping discounts.

The announcement is a 180 from the company's previous statements on its NRA partnership. Shortly after the Parkland school shooting, many activists called for FedEx to cut business ties with the NRA as other companies like Delta and Hertz ended their NRA loyalty programs. But FedEx refused, saying that although its views on firearms differed from the NRA's, it wouldn't deny its services to "any legal entity regardless of their policy positions or political views."
