Fox News is parting ways with former host Eric Bolling after a story alleged he sent lewd messages to female colleagues.

In a statement, Fox News said it canceled his show "The Specialists," adding the split was amicable and thanked him for his work. Bolling had been suspended since the story was published.

The story's author, Yashar Ali, wrote in the Huffington Post that at least three women got an unsolicited photo of male genitalia from Bolling.

Bolling's lawyer said he "recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications." Bolling also filed a defamation lawsuit against Ali, seeking $50 million in damages.

Bolling's departure is just the latest harassment scandal to rock Fox News.

Host Bill O'Reilly and CEO Roger Ailes left the news network after being accused of sexually harassing co-workers. Both denied the allegations.
