Satellite images published by CNN on Wednesday appear to show recent activity and signs of growth at a North Korean missile site.

The images show significant expansion of a long-range missile base in the form of construction on a new nearby facility. Some experts believe the new facility may even by a new missile site, according to CNN.

Activity at a key missile site would be yet another reminder that North Korea has not taken the steps toward denuclearization that the U.S. had hoped for, despite continued diplomatic talks.

On Tuesday, national security adviser John Bolton said President Trump wants to meet with North Korean leaders again, possibly in January or February.

At the Wall Street Journal's CEO council conference Tuesday, Bolton said: "They have not lived up to the commitments so far. That's why I think the president thinks that another summit is likely to be productive."

In the meantime, though, Bolton said the Trump administration has no plans to lift economic sanctions against North Korea.
