French officials updated the number of those killed and injured in a shooting that happened Tuesday evening in Strasbourg.

Early Wednesday morning, France's interior minister said so far three people had died and a dozen people were injured in the shooting.

Soon after the shooting, officials had said four people had died and at least 10 were injured. They haven't said yet why the numbers changed.

French authorities say the suspect is a 29-year-old man who was also injured after police responded to the shooting. As of early Wednesday morning local time, police had still not apprehended him.

Anti-terrorism authorities are also continuing to investigate the incident.
