A wildfire in Arizona has destroyed 33 homes and over 50 other minor structures.

An abandoned illegal campfire in the Coconino National Forest sparked the blaze two weeks ago, according to the U.S. Forest Service.

The fire stretches over 16,000 acres and was almost 80 percent contained as of Saturday night. Newsy affiliate KNXV reports some evacuation orders have been lifted.

Last week, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey declared a state of emergency in response to the fire.
