Most felons in Alabama have had the right to vote now for nearly a year, but many people in the state have no idea the law changed. The Alabama Voting Rights Project is seeking to meet felons and help them register to vote. Blair Bowie of the Campaign Legal Center says 286,000 people in the state are considered disenfranchised. Newsy followed as Bowie and a group of volunteers knocked on doors across the state to help people regain their rights.
