The House Intelligence Committee says public hearings for the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump will continue next week. And eight witnesses are already scheduled to testify.

On Tuesday, Nov. 19, the committee will first hear from Jennifer Williams, who is an aide to the vice president, and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council.

Kurt Volker, the former U.S. special envoy to Ukraine, and Tim Morrison, a top National Security Council official, will testify later in the day.

U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland is scheduled to appear Wednesday morning. Laura Cooper, a Pentagon official, and David Hale, the undersecretary of state for political affairs have also been called to testify.

The week of testimony is expected to conclude on Thursday, Nov. 21, when Fiona Hill, a former Russia adviser, appears.

All eight witnesses have already participated in closed-door depositions.

House Republicans had previously requested Volker, Morrison and Hale testify in public impeachment inquiry hearings. Republicans are invited to ask for specific witnesses they want to hear from, but Democrats still need to approve those requests.

The House Intelligence Committee's Democratic majority told multiple outlets that it had "accepted all of the Minority requests that are within the scope of the impeachment inquiry."
