Shia LaBeouf Has Locked Himself In An Elevator for 24 Hours ... In The Name Of Art
Feb. 19, 2016
Shia LaBeouf continues to bring us art that puts us in awe … -fully weird places.
He's not just watching at his own movies in a theater. This time, the actor locked himself in an elevator for 24 hours at the University of Oxford for an art project called #ELEVATE, and it's being live streamed.
LeBeouf is joined by his collaborators Nastja Sade Rönkkö and Luke Turner. The trio is welcoming visitors to hop on board to "address the artists, the debating chamber, and the internet, so that their collective voices may form an extended, expansive and egalitarian Oxford Union address."
The 24-hour conversation starts 9 a.m. Feb.19.
It's the latest stint for the actor-turned-performance-artist. Check out Newsy's coverage of LeBeouf's past artistic antics.
