Meet Jay Flatland and Paul Rose, software engineers who built a robot that can solve a Rubik's Cube in just 1 second.
What's also of note is how consistent the machine is, solving the puzzle four different times in less than 1.2 seconds.
For what it's worth, the current machine record time for solving a Rubik's Cube stands at 3.253 seconds. Flatland and Rose are now applying for the world record. According to Venture Beat, the human world record is held by Lucas Etter at 4.904 seconds.
