These Nuns' Pope Tailgate Puts Your College Football Tailgate To Shame
September 24, 2015
College football Saturdays can't touch this.
Meet a few of the coolest (and most prepared) nuns ever. Luke Russert from NBC spotted them in the parking lot of the Catholic University of America right before Pope Francis celebrated mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.
Let's run through the checklist of necessary tailgate items and see how they did.
Tailgate (check)
Chairs (check)
Chips (check)
Hot dogs and/or hamburgers (check)
Cooler (check)
While there doesn't appear to be kegs or queso dip, you still have to hand it to the nuns for coming ready for the pope's historic visit.
Well done, sisters. Well done.
