Emma Watson Hid Maya Angelou Books For NYC Commuters To Find

Emma Watson is the latest book fairy of the New York City subway.

The United Nations ambassador and "Harry Potter" star hid copies of Maya Angelou's "Mom & Me & Mom" throughout the subway system Wednesday.

"Mom & Me & Mom" is this month's reading for the feminist book club Watson started in January, Our Shared Shelf.

In early November, she hid 100 free copies of the same book throughout the London subway.

The books even came with handwritten notes from Watson.

The books are part of a project called Books on the Underground. Here's the rule: Book fairies leave books around the subway system, book finders find them and then hide them again once they're finished reading. It's as cool as it sounds.
