New York Artists Are Directing Their Donald Trump Protests At Ivanka
November 29, 2016New York artists have a message for the president-elect, and it starts with "Dear Ivanka."
Halt Action Group is the band of artists behind the Dear Ivanka Instagram account and the protests outside of New York City's Puck Building, which Ivanka Trump's husband owns and where they reside with their children. Halt members hope to make their concerns about Donald Trump heard by directing them toward Ivanka Trump, his daughter and a member of his transition team. The Dear Ivanka website reads: "We refuse to 'wait and see.' We look to you as the voice of reason." Artists such as Marilyn Minter, Arden Wohl and Rob Pruitt participated in the protest Monday night.
