Newsy is now available on thousands of screens in office towers across North America through a new partnership with Captivate, the leading digital media network delivering best-in-class content via elevator and lobby media screens.

News updates from Newsy are now featured on office screens in 34 markets across the U.S. and Canada, including New York City, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver and Toronto. Newsy’s video news content is translated into quick text headlines covering the latest in policy, culture, science and technology for the news consumer on-the-go.

The deal expands Newsy's already industry-leading distribution to out-of-home media, reaching nearly 12,000 screens in 1,600 buildings at launch. That number is expected to continue to grow in 2019 and beyond.

Newsy is the fastest growing news network in America. Its documentaries, original series and in-depth coverage of the day’s top stories are available everywhere viewers look for their news. Newsy is a wholly owned subsidiary of The E.W. Scripps Company (NASDAQ: SSP).
