President Obama addressed a possible government shutdown Monday afternoon, urging House Republicans to pass a short-term spending bill. The president proceeded to call Speaker John Boehner and other party leaders in the House and Senate about government funding and ObamaCare. However, according to CNN, a spokesman for Boehner indicated there was no breakthrough.
