A school in Austria claims to be the first of its kind -- it’s a school of sex. The International School of Sex will teach students, quote, “not theoretical, but practical” information on how to be better in bed.

In an ad for the school, the headmistress explains why sex studies are so important.

THOMPSON: “ … this is a knowledge that never becomes obsolete.”

The classes will teach hands-on lessons on sexual positions, caressing techniques, anatomical features and more. The Local has more details on the coital curriculum.

“The school is offering five basic courses, as well as intensive courses and weekend seminars … The minimum age to enroll … is sixteen.”

Those potentially teenaged students will live in an 18th century mansion outside of Vienna, and for homework they’re expected to practice their skills … on each other.

The Daily Mail says the school’s debut has been far from an easy ride.

“The school has already been controversial in Austria. Raunchy adverts showing a couple making love have already been banned by Austrian TV. One protester said: 'This is wrapped up in a very stylish way but it is just selling sex.'”

But Vibe magazine says the International School of Sex won’t have any issues with enrollment.

“ … we know some of you freaky deaks want to enroll. Book your flight, no judgment from us."

And pro-sex school or not, OddityCentral points out a potential pitfall.

“Most of the classes … unfortunately, are to be taught in German. … But hey, sex is a universal language right?”

The school’s first session begins in January and costs about $1,850 a term. According to the school, some classes have already climaxed -- reached their maximum enrollment, that is.
