Chubby chasers eat your heart out, Donna Simpson says she won't be happy till she's the heavyweight champion of the world. She tips the scales at 600 pounds and wants to weigh even more - 1000 pounds in just two years.
But it's not going to be easy. To reach her goal, Simpson spends $750 a week on food. She gets the money from online fans, who pay to watch the lingerie clad Simpson, eat and test her mobility. A panelist on HLN thinks her goal is just a big, fat ploy.
"Everybody can be famous and you don't even have to be good at stuff." "She's gonna be famous for not being attractive and not being in shape. It speaks of the cultural moment for me"
But Simpson tells New York's NBC affiliate, her rotund figure makes her more than a fame seeking online model - she's a role model for fat acceptance.
"This has been my life. I've been heavy and battling it my whole life. I'm not battling it. I'm just going with the flow and trying to eat as healthy as I can, but I eat massive quantities of healthy food."
So what does Simpson's healthy 12,000-calorie-a-day diet include? Well, all you can eat fast food, cake and donut buffet. The ladies of The View call her overeating a suicide mission.
"You got a little girl here, unless you're going to send her to family, it's just very selfish." "At some point everybody in your family is suffering, including your kid." "I've heard of chubby chaser but this is ridiculous."
Simpson's says she's on track to her goal weight, but chasing around her 3-year-old daughter burns off precious calories. On Right Pundits, a writer gives a less than sincere toast to Simpson's dedication.
"Donna Simpson appears to be a woman of great discipline and control. If only that kid of hers would stop making her move so dang much. I think she'll do it."
