Actress... dancer... singer... mother... and judge.

Jennifer Lopez seems to have her hands tied nowadays

In a recent interview either Extra -- The newest member of American Idol’s judge panel says -- she may be leaving soon.

“Last time I heard you weren’t sure you were coming back to Idol. Were there something particular you were debating?’

“‘Yeah yeah, I am just not. Nobody’s made me make the decision yet and I can you know kind of go either way. I loved it I am not saying I didn’t love it but you know I only signed on for one year so the second year...we don’t know yet.’”

Most speculate its has something to do with a joint project with hubbie Marc Anthony.

It’s called “Q’Viva,” -  a Latin competition show. She describes it to the Hollywood Reporter.

“The realness, the richness, the purity, the traditional aspects of the Latin American culture.’  ‘This is like me being able to really really go I am Latina and this is who we are.”

Entertainment Wise reports -- JLo’s husband, and father of her two children, has another request.

“Jen's hubby, Marc Anthony who is reportedly trying to convince Jen to quit the show in order to spend more time with their family.”

Now -- to why she may stay. The New York Post says --- cha-ching!

“Fox's ‘American Idol’ has catapulted Jennifer Lopez' career from lukewarm to red hot in the space of a season... and the… singer may use that new found muscle to flex it during her upcoming contract talks. The popular judge who helped bring Idol back to life --pocketed a reported $12 million as part of the initial deal...”

And bloggers put in their two cents on whether Jenny from the Block should stick around.

A writer for Film Industry Network says-- Ms. Lopez has many options to weigh:

“The expectations are so high for people on TV, and the demands can be overwhelming, particularly if judges are doing hundreds of other things. J Lo is set to feature in 2 movies this coming year and whether she can keep up the singing and look after her kids is another thing. At the end of the day, Jennifer Lopez has already delivered, and can explore other avenues.”

As Idol fans wait in anticipation -- Popeater says -- JLo is ready to have the spotlight back on her.

“It sounds like Lopez would rather build up her own career than create someone else's. But with the recent comeback success she's seen, we don't blame her.”
