Life without Steve Jobs -- will Apple survive without its core? CNBC’s Ron Insana told NBC Apple has a bright future.

“I think he's imbued the company with enough spirit, and he’s got a team with Tim Cook and others deep enough -- and a product pipeline deep enough -- that it's gonna survive him for several years to come.”

Jobs shocked the world when he stepped down as CEO in August, handing over the reins to Tim Cook. The Wall Street Journal quotes a Piper Jaffray & CO analyst, explaining the multi-billion dollar company is prepared to be Jobs-less.

"So far Tim Cook's move to CEO has been flawless, not surprising given Jobs groomed him for five years to take the role."

Jobs’ death comes just one day after Apple announced the release of the iPhone 4S. But, millions of disappointed Apple fans who expected the iPhone 5 question where the company will go from here.  

The BBC quotes a Telecom analyst at Frost & Sullivan, explaining the company could move slower now at a time when it’s facing more competition than ever.

"In the short term, the impact is not likely to be that much, as the company already has in place plans for technology and product development. But in the the medium to long term, Jobs' absence may hurt Apple."

Apple opened lower on the stock market Thursday, but made a quick comeback. Despite the recovery, Forbes asks how long can the company keep it up?

"The question for investors moving forward is whether Steve Jobs’ innovative force has been institutionalized in a way that will keep the company at the cutting edge. Those questions will not be answered in a day, a week, or a year."

Finally -- we’ll leave you with the iconic leader’s words of wisdom -- offered in a 2005 Stanford commencement speech.

“Your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life and most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become, everything else is secondary.”

The release of Jobs’ biography has been pushed up -- expected now to come out on October 24th. According to PC Magazine, pre-orders have skyrocketed in the wake of news of Jobs’ death.
