One of the four students wounded in Friday's shooting at a Washington state high school died Sunday night.

According to KING, officials at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett said Gia Soriano's injuries were extensive, and despite doctors' best efforts, they couldn't save her. She was 14 years old.

DR. JOANNE ROBERTS, PROVIDENCE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER EVERETT: "We are asking you, along with the Soriano family, to please respect their privacy during this time for their grief. It will take them a long time to heal, they will never heal from this."

Three other students remained hospitalized as of early Monday. Two are reportedly in critical condition, and one is in serious condition.

According to Washington media outlets, Fryberg was a member of a prominent family within the Tulalip Native American tribe. (Video via KING)

And the community on the tribe's reservation is still struggling to find answers. A Tulalip board member told The Seattle Times, "It’s just so devastating. We just don’t know how it all adds up."

Investigators have yet to determine a motive for the shooting.
