Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller was arrested for cocaine possession and assault in Aspen on Saturday night -- and now video has surfaced of her at the nightclub where the arrest took place. TMZ has the tape.

34-year-old Mueller is seen sashaying into the club, then drinking and stumbling on the dance floor. Later, she’s taken out by police -- reportedly after attacking another patron. This isn’t the first time Mueller has had trouble in Aspen. She and Sheen married in 2008, and in December of 2009 the actor was arrested in Aspen for assaulting Mueller and threatening her with a knife while they vacationed. The couple divorced in November 2010, then battled for custody of their twin sons.

Mueller is now charged with assault in the third degree and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

The Aspen Daily News has more details of the arrest.

“A witness … said Mueller was allegedly intoxicated and irate, yelling, ‘Call my attorney. .... Call the LAPD. ... Call whoever. ... I run this town,’ as she was led down the pedestrian mall in handcuffs."

Sometimes-actress Mueller’s problems go back to 1996, when she was arrested for a DUI. In 2001, she was arrested for cocaine, and in July of this year, she went to rehab for drug and alcohol abuse.

People magazine says Sheen’s ex just can’t seem to stay sober.

“ … a source close to her tells PEOPLE: ‘Brooke can't stay sober on her own. Maybe this [arrest] will force her to go into a treatment center for a long stay. Thirty-day rehabs won't work for her.’”

But why can’t Mueller stay on track? In recent months, she and Sheen had been on good terms. CinemaBlend says Mueller needs to follow her ex’s example.

“Five months ago, Mueller got out of rehab and went to Mexico to celebrate sobriety with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen. Since the trip, the former Two And A Half Men star has been on quite the upswing … Unfortunately, it seems that momentum did not extend to his ex-wife.”

But Michael K, writer of celebrity news blog DListed, blames Sheen.

“It seemed like Brooke Mueller was shuffling along the road toward sobriety with Charlie Sheen as her co-pilot (first mistake) … “

Mueller was released on $11,000 bond and is set to appear in Colorado District Court on December 19th.
