Look what happened to the last chap that tried to unite Europe. The concept is as fundamentally flawed now as it was then (even though Hitler's authoritarianism worked for a while). NO PRESIDENT BLAIR PLEASE! He's already destroyed England - don't let him trash anywhere else.

I can't wait to see what a more unified EU will do. They already strengthen their euro by joining hands, what else might this alliance help? I think that their steps furthering a cross country government will be the building blocks of a new one world government.

I think it's admirable that he is holding to his guns and not signing the treaty. It's also a smart political move to leverage this situation in his favor since he is the last to sign. I'm not sure how I feel about the entire EU being under one president either.
