In a bizarre grudge, a couple of NFL players have taken to Twitter to call each other out.

In one corner, we have Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee (Sko-Bee). Scobee had some unsavory words for his Twitter opponent- Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Desean (Duh-Sean) Jackson during Sunday night’s Eagles-Giants game. Let’s get ready to rumble.

“DeSean Jackson is a punk. #growuputinybastard”

Scobee later tweeted...

“Relax people, he’s just a punk which to me means he doesn’t respect anyone or anything around him. Therefore, I don’t respect him.”

The battle stemmed from Sunday night’s Eagles-Giants game when after making a 50 yard catch, Jackson flipped the ball at a Giants assistant. Jackson was flagged for a taunting penalty and apparently Scobee took exception. D-Jax threw a few jabs of his own at Scobee in Round 3 on Tuesday.

“This man @joshscobee is waaaaaaay outta Line!! Stick to ya Own business.. Mind ya own!! I don’t respect what u sayin.. Lil Boi status.”

The fight was called when Scobee apologized for using the wrong words to make his point. But Charles Davis from the NFL Network would like to see a rematch. Only this time, on the field.

Davis: “Can we get Jacksonville to play against Philadelphia and Scobee kicks off and has to make the tackle when Desean returns it?”

Anchor: “He’s a kicker. I mean really. A kicker did this.”

Jackson hasn’t exactly been a model of sportsmanship for the 4 and 6 Eagles this year. A writer from CBS sports says a string of incidents have fans, coaches and even kickers upset at his antics.

“You could understand why Eagles fans... would be upset by DeSean Jackson these past few weeks. After all, he slept through a Saturday special teams meeting, leading Andy Reid to bench him in Week 10...But you know the moment you’ve really crossed the line? When another team’s kicker comes at you sideways on Twitter."
