Donald Trump is looking to sell some choice real estate. For a pretty penny you could have some well-to-do neighbors, a great view and you’re just a few hundred feet away from a world-class golf course. One downside: you wouldn’t be alive to enjoy it.

Florida’s WPBF reports.

“Real estate mogul Donald Trump is trying to get into the cemetery business. The part-time Palm Beacher wants to build a 1.5-acre cemetery next to his golf course in New Jersey.”

WCBS says the grounds at this final resting place would be just as exclusive as Trump’s nearby golf course.

“(The cemetery) would be available for club members to rest in peace, but ... a section could be saved for Trump and his kin. The plan would also make the club available for late golfers to have their ashes spread there.”

No word yet on how much a plot at Trump’s place would cost, but …

His cemetery would have some stiff competition from top-dollar resting places such as this one at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Massachusetts. A prime spot in one of the cemetery’s many mausoleums can sell for as high as $500,000.

The state of New Jersey will have the final say in green-lighting The Donald’s cemetery. Gov. Chris Christie’s office seemed pleased with the news. A spokesman for the governor told Newark’s The Star-Ledger:

"Donald Trump can be buried anywhere ... so I guess we should be honored that he’s considering New Jersey."
