New details on school shooter Adam Lanza. Fox News says the investigation into the massacre is ongoing …

“But we have confirmed that mass murderer Adam Lanza visited at least one gun range and that Adam Lanza fired hundreds of shots.”

President Obama vowed to “use whatever power this office holds” to prevent further tragedies. He spoke in Newtown, Connecticut on Sunday night. Here’s CNN.

“President Obama came here last night offering comfort to the inconsolable in private, and that an emotional interfaith memorial service, telling those who lost their loved ones, ‘You are not alone.’”

This morning, Newtown prepares for its first two funerals. HLN reports.

“Six-year-old Jack Pinto, who you can see here on the left, and Noah Pozner on the right will be laid to rest this afternoon.”

The school district in Newtown hasn’t determined the future of Sandy Hook Elementary School. WIVB explains.

“At this point, officials in Newtown have not decided whether Sandy Hook Elementary will ever reopen. The school district is now considering sending surviving students to a former school building in a nearby town.”
