Tinder Date Leads To A Life-Saving Kidney Donation

After a Tinder date, a Florida woman offered to donate her kidney to her date's friend who was in dire need.

Two Florida singles swiped right, as many Tinder users do, looking for love or their next date.

There are millions of Tinder swipes daily, but Jennifer Thomas and Rich O'Dea's story is a little different.

O'Dea had a friend who was in desperate need of a kidney, and after one date, Thomas was willing to donate one of hers to a complete stranger. (Video via WFTS)

Thomas felt inspired after O'Dea mentioned that he runs to raise money for the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.

"I feel like a better person," Thomas said. "I feel like I've discovered why I'm here."

The two haven't said if they'll continue to date, but Thomas donated her kidney Wednesday morning.
