Reality star Tila Tequila got more than she bargained for at a music festival over the weekend.

This footage is from TomGreen.com and you can actually see some items being thrown at her while she’s on-stage…performing topless.

PopEater explains why the crowd – fans of the band Insane Clown Posse otherwise known as “Juggalos” turned on Tila.

“Juggalos are devoted fans of … any artist on the group's label, Psychopathic Records. Psychopathic artists all tend to swim in the same pool of gruesome lyrics, facial makeup and hard hip-hop beats. The further you go from the center -- like Tequila's superficial, saccharine hip-hop and pop -- the less tolerant Juggalos will be of your music.”

HLN has the graphic pictures of Tila’s face after the attacks…

“A black eye, severe cuts on her face. Fans of the Insane Clown Posse reportedly threw bottles, rocks, even feces before chasing the star off the stage.”

Fox News continues where HLN left off, reporting the throwing and fights went on well after the star was off-stage.

“We’re told despite this Tila continued to perform, but as the attacks grew more and more violent, security rushed her off the stage. The angry mob giving chase and attacking her all the way back to her trailer. Tila suffered cuts, bruises and burns…she plans to sue the organizers of the festival.”

And TMZ reports the reality star was warned this would happen before she even performed!

“TMZ spoke with ICP member Violent J -- who claims the group informed Tila about a rumor circulating within the Juggalo community that Tila was going to be a target when she performed on Friday night… Tila informed the group that she wouldn't back out of the performance…”

TMZ’s report continues, saying Tila was told she would be paid regardless of what happened on stage. So what do you think? Should Tila have heeded the warnings? Was the angry mob way out of line?
